Monty is committed to having discussions about equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the geosciences and in STEM in general.

We host regular student-EDI reading group meetings where we discuss recent articles related to EDI in geoscience. We encourage you to read the article/discussion questions doc (to which you are free to add your own questions/comments) in advance. We also encourage article suggestions for future meetings. These meetings are safe spaces to exchange views and ideas in a respectful manner and brainstorm ways we can apply what we discussed to our own department.
